A couple of months ago I indited an article on 10 Reasons To Stop Visually Watching TV. I was half expecting resistant replies, but was surprised to read many readers expressing the same sentiments. Some of them have abstracted TV from their lives since years ago, while some are on the way towards cutting TV out. Many of them expressed ameliorated quality of life after they ceased / reduced TV viewing.

You might be wondering: Why abstract TV from our life? Truth is, I used to visually examine TV a fair bit when I was adolescent. When I was a student, I made it a point to optically canvass all prime time shows (The trailers had a way of making you feel you were missing out if you didn’t watch). If there was ever a blockbuster movie on air, I would catch it additionally. TV made life seem exhilarating.

Then gradually, I reduced my TV viewing. It was a natural progression, authentically, as I became more diligent and found priorities outside of TV. Today, I’ve not visually examined TV for about 4 years. I found my life contentment incremented when I visually examined less TV. It has given more time for me to pursue my life goals. Compare 2 hours of TV visually examining to verbalize, inditing personal development articles for my blog or inditing my 1st book, the latter activities are definitely a whole lot more paramount. In retrospect, I felt the time I spent in front of the ebony box in the past was a waste of time.

No matter how important or easy the shortcuts are, we often forget or ignore some of them due to reasons like very little use or awkward placement on the keyboard. Here are some of those forgotten or most ignored Windows shortcuts.

1. Ctrl + Y

Most of you may know that “Ctrl + Z” is used to undo the immediate previous action performed by the user. This is really helpful at times, but do you actually know that there is a shortcut called “Ctrl + Y” which will redo anything that is undone? This will be a life saver at times, so don’t ever forget this shortcut.
